Family-run Guest House
Run by 2 Generations of the Huit family, The Grange Country House has a lovely calming atmosphere and a home-from-home feeling. Situated on Manor Brow, we enjoy some of the best views Keswick has to offer, overlooking Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite, Catbells and Skiddaw. This lovely Victorian house is just a short walk of about 15 minutes from Keswick town centre and about 20 minutes to the beautiful Derwentwater lake.

Individually Styled Rooms
We have 11 individually styled rooms, including one on the ground floor for those with limited mobility. All the rooms are en-suite and decorated to a very high standard, complemented by crisp cotton sheets and stylish bedspreads and accessories. Award-winning Traditional, Vegetarian & Vegan Breakfasts
Our breakfasts comprise of fine, locally farmed and butchered meat direct from Kingfisher in Keswick, locally sourced eggs and dairy, and other
quality & sustainable ingredients from Cartmel Valley Smokehouse. On top of our cooked breakfast options, we also have a buffet with home-baked cake or flapjack, yoghurts, homemade jams, cereals and a freshly prepared fruit salad. A selection of Fair Trade teas and coffees are always available, and in Summer a selection of fresh teas from our garden. Special dietary requests can be catered for, including a range vegetarian, vegan and gluten
free choices are always available.
Complimentary Luxury Spa Visit
Stay with us and two guests can enjoy a complimentary visit to the leisure facilities at The Spa at Underscar Manor. The facilities include a hot tub,
fifteen-metre pool, plus a sauna and steam room. If you need to get your heart pumping there is also a small, but well-equipped gym. Places are of
course limited, so it is wise to book with us in advance. Don’t forget to pack your swimming costume!
Treatments are also available at the Underscar, and guests staying at The Grange receive a special 20% discount. Why not treat yourself to a massage

FAQ's
When is check-in?
Check-In starts at 14:00 and finishes when reception closes around 19:00. If you arrive before 14:00, you can always check if your room is already available. If you plan to arrive after 19:00 please contact reception as we will have to send you late-arrival information.
When is check-out?
Guests that book direct with us, can check-out at 11:00. This gives us plenty of time to reset the room for the new arrivals. If you want to check-out later, please contact reception and we can see what is possible.
Can I leave my car on the carpark if I arrive early, or after departure so that I can go into town?
Absolutely no problem!
What is included in the price?
Our prices include breakfast, parking and a complimentary visit to the Spa at Underscar.
Do you have a charger for my Electric Vehicle?
Yes, we have a 7kW car charger. No need to reserve, just ask reception to turn it on when you need it during your stay. We do charge for it, please ask reception for the current price per kWh.
