The Grange Country Guest House has 11 en-suite bedrooms on both the first and second floors of the property. We now have one spacious ground floor double bedroom suite decorated in traditional Victorian style with modern accessories. Over the past two years the bedrooms and bathrooms have been redecorated to a very high standard and are complemented by crisp cotton sheets and stylish bedspreads and accessories. There are new flat screen televisions with digital channels in every room along with telephone and alarm clock-radio.

In all of our rooms you will find a good hairdryer, local sparkling mineral water, quality toiletries, complementary beverage tray with a selection of Fair Trade drinks and lovely locally baked biscuits.

SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOM (room 5) - with superb views of the fells from two aspects, a luxurious half-tester bed and quality Victorian style décor. The bathroom is an en-suite shower room with electric shower.

GROUND FLOOR SUPERIOR DOUBLE (room 1) – this is a spacious double room with excellent en-suite shower room facility. There is a writing table and Chesterfield sofa in addition to the usual wardrobe and dressing table. The 'unique' fireplace is made from locally quarried stone.

LUXURY DOUBLE ROOMS (rooms 3, 6 & 8) – these rooms are nice and spacious with a queen size bed and good storage with double wardrobe, dressing table and, or chest of drawers in each. All have good quality en-suite facilities with either an electric shower or a large bath. There is good storage with a wardrobe, dressing table or chest of drawers in each. All have nice views towards the Lake and fells.

LUXURY TWIN ROOMS (rooms 7 & 11) – these are good sized rooms with two 3’ single beds in each. One of our twin rooms has a bath and one has a large quadrant shower. Both have a good outlook and have lots of natural light. There is good storage with a double wardrobe and chest of drawers in each. Both have now got lovely new beds which can zip and link to become 'superkings'.

STANDARD DOUBLE ROOMS (rooms 4, 9 & 10) - These rooms have good quality 4’6’ double beds and nice outlooks towards the fells. In order to maximise the space they have each have a single wardrobe and dressing table. Room 10 has a bath whilst 4 and 9 have showers.

SMALL DOUBLE ROOM (room 2) – this room is a small double, so there is no seating area, but it is lovely and light and newly decorated. The en-suite facilities comprise a nice bath, with Victorian style shower cradle, plus sink and loo. There is a single wardrobe and dressing table and all of the accessories that you find in the larger rooms.
